Marshal Kregg regains his composure and with a ray pistol gives Lt. Carson a taste of his own medicine, cracking him on the back of his head with the butt of the gun. Carson is down. Kregg shuts the doors on the invading Kane Squadron, crushing and destroying them as the gates close. But not before two ships make it through the gate. All of Hidden City is put on alert and swarm the landing field where Kane's men now are. They are outnumbered, 10 to 1. If accurate, there are 40 Hidden City Soldiers covering the 4 Kane Soldiers. They are disarmed and but in the guard towers. With that threat taken care of, the War Council reconvenes. Their final decision is to contact Saturn and have them join their forces to attack Kane immediately. Wasn't that the plan from the very beginning? Why did they need to have a meeting about doing what they already made plans on doing? To the Transporter immediately!
Wilma joins the crowed in Dr. Huer's office and asks if they are indeed going to war. Have they not been at war this whole time? Then she asks how can they defeat Kane with such a huge force behind him. Hasn't she been paying attention at all? Oh, I get it, she is the voice of the audience, who may not have had the liberty of seeing the previous chapters of the story. Oh No! The Radio used to communicate with Saturn is dead. They must have left it on all night and the batteries ran out. Buck suggests that it may just be off. Thank you Mr. IT (Information Technology). "Did you check to make sure you turned your computer on Sir?" Well, with the radio out of commission, there is only one thing to do. Buck must make a personal visit back to Saturn in one of the captured Kane Patrol ships. With some extra rockets added to the ship by Dr. Huer, the Patrol ship is made space worthy. Lt. Carson must have given Buddy an idea, because now he is stowing away on the Patrol ship that Buck is taking to Saturn. If it worked for Carson, it should work for Buddy.
Commander White, is informed that a ship has been spotted coming from the Hidden City Valley. Could Buck's plan to sneak by the blockade in a Kane Patrol ship already be in jeopardy? White orders Seven Squadron Patrol to prepare for action against the Hidden City ship. Phew! Buck is determined to be a Kane Scout Ship, and the attack is called off. Squadron commander calls Buck's ship, ZN1, and requests to know how he made it out of Hidden City and where the other ships are. Buck states he will not say anything over the radio and will make his way to Kane headquarters for a complete debriefing. Wont they get suspicious when Buck doesn't head towards Kane City, but towards Saturn? Buck see's Buddy in his review mirror and says he can come out now. Buddy takes control of the ship while Buck rests his still-ray-gun-burned arm. The pressure is getting low on the ship, so Buck fires some more retarding rockets. Buddy keeps the ships nose down at the same angle. Buck touches down on Saturn and is spotted by two Saturnian Soldiers.
Buck looks for the Bullet Railroad car to take them to the Forum. The two armed men detain Buck and Buddy. They said that because of what has happened to Prince Tallen, they are under orders to detain all new arrivals to Saturn, especially Earth men. Well, Buck isn't one for being taken captive, no matter if it is with an army they are allied with. Buck and Buddy each take out the soldiers, confiscate their weapons and march armed into the Forum. A Kane Ship arrives shortly after Buck does. Could is be Captain Laska? All the Saturnian guards seem to run away from Buck and Buddy as they invade the Forum and enter the council room. Aldar informs us that Prince Tallen has been kidnapped by Killer Kane, forcing the Saturnian's to comply with his wishes. Aldar believes complying with Lt. Laska (uh, it's Captain Laska, Aldar) they will get Tallen back safely. Buck interjects, and try's to convince Aldar that Kane cannot be trusted. Insert footage from The Enemy's Stronghold. The Council of the Wise is now convinced and declare war against Killer Kane. Captain Laska beings to drop bombs down on the Forum. The building begins to fall down around them. Everything is in chaos and the ceiling comes down on top of the terrified Zugg's and Saturnian's. A Zugg tries to turn off the electrical panel, but falls over. Buck steps up and attempts to do it himself. A pillar cracks and falls on Buck's legs. Buddy runs to help but is buried under a heap load of debris.
